OnePlus is all set to launch it’s latest devices on May 14. The company is launching two devices this year OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. Though all the features of both these devices have already been leaked, here is a list of the Confirmed features that both these devices are going to have.
HDR 10 + Display
One of the most interesting new feature that has been publicized a lot is the new HDR 10 + display that the Pro model is going to have. The OnePlus 7 Pro will feature a display that has already been termed as the best in industry with DisplayMate A + rating. This means that the OnePlus 7 Pro screen will support high resolution streaming on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. HDR 10 + screen will bring more brightness and provide better frame by frame adjustments for better contrast ratio. It also means that the OnePlus 7 Pro screen will provide great vivid colors and deep dark blacks for an amazing viewing experience.
Pop-up Selfie Camera
OnePlus has decided to ditch the waterdrop notch they had in their previous devices. OnePlus 7 Pro I will have a no-notch full view display with minimal side bezels and a small chin at the bottom. For the front camera the 7 Pro will rock a pop-up selfie camera much like what we have seen from the likes of Vivo and Oppo. Since OnePlus, Vivo and Oppo all are from the same parent company BBK Electronics, it’s no surprise that they are going for the pop-up selfie camera in this year’s OnePlus devices. Alongside this OnePlus 7 Pro will feature a triple camera system 48 MP + 16 MP + 8 MP on the back. This will be the first time a OnePlus device will have a triple rear camera system.
UFS 3.0 Storage
OnePlus 7 Pro will also be the first One plus device to feature UFS 3.0 storage and this was confirmed by Pete Lau himself via his Twitter handle. The new storage standard means faster data transfer rates thus a better performing device. OnePlus will be first phone manufacturer to have UFS 3.0 storage in there devices since Samsung which was earlier expected to launch the same skimped on this one in their 2019 flagships.
Stronger Vibration motor
OnePlus devices have had issues with their consumers complaining about weaker Vibration engines. Keeping up with their consumer oriented practices the company has finally fixed the issue as OnePlus 7 Pro will feature a 200% stronger Vibration motor than the previous generation OnePlus phones. The users will also be able to personalise the vibration intensity in the new OnePlus devices.
OnePlus 7 Pro will have a bigger 4000mAh battery with warp charging and USB Type-C.
Since the launch date is just hours away and keeping up with the trend, OnePlus has always managed to up the hype around their latest devices, The question is Will it meet the hype?
